The Victorian Security Union is accepting suggestions from all Wilson Security employees regarding the successor agreement, members and non-members are welcome. Please provide suggestions, amendments and/or inclusions you would like to see in your Enterprise Agreement by filling out the form below.
Current Proposals:
(1) Income Insurance
Covid has shown that while the industry is robust, individuals can suffer as a result of job loss or significant hour reduction. We believe Wilson should protect it’s workers in these vulnerable circumstances.
(2) Pandemic Leave
When required to isolate or be tested, we believe Wilson members should have their entitlements protected by a specific leave to be used during pandemics.
(3) National Emergency Allowance
During National Emergencies, Security Workers are asked to step up while others are asked to step down, VICSU believe that Security Workers deserve to be recognized during these times.
(4) Defence Clearance Allowance
For those who must maintain vetting clearances, an allowance that recognizes the high level of scrutiny and additional burdens that go beyond the duties they perform while on shift.
